Dr Sarah Mills is a neurosurgeon and spine surgeon who joined the Briz Brain & Spine team in 2024.

Dr Sarah Mills has particular interests in:

  • Neurovascular Conditions
  • General neurosurgery
  • General spine surgery

Background and Experience

Growing up in Queensland, Dr Mills went on to undertake her medical studies at The University of Queensland.

This was followed by general medical training in various clinical establishments, including Briz Brain & Spine, and specialist surgical training at a number of hospitals including Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Gold Coast University Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital among others.

Dr Mills has recently completed a Cranial Fellowship at the Royal North Shore Hospital with a special interest in neurovascular conditions. She also has a keen interest in research and education, having authored several peer-reviewed publications and presenting at a number of neurosurgical conferences.

Dr Mills also holds a consultation neurosurgeon position at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in addition to her private practice at Briz Brain & Spine.
